Traded Credit Risk/Counterparty Risk Role - Traded Credit Risk Control Team (2-8 yrs)

The Traded Credit Risk Control Team within the WMR Offshore, currently based out of Bangalore and Manila provides support to a number of Risk functions/teams across the Group. The teams have 5 main components:

- Cpty Risk Measurement and adjustments

- Cpty Onboarding

- Limits Maintenance

- Reconciliations

- Excess Monitoring and Reporting

The team undertake a number of tasks, including

- MTM Calculation of risk in our credit and market risk systems as required

- Maintain counterparty limits utilizing various systems

- Providing Netting and collateral benefits based on ISDA and equivalent docs

- Investigating and reporting credit risk arising from trading activities against approved limits

- Review critical reconciliation reports and identify transactions or counterparties with missing transactions or incorrect risk calculations

- Raven on-boarding and docs maintenance

- Excess management and reporting

- Reporting and analyzing the cause of variation and addressing the issues to correct the same.

- Various Daily Reports

- Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce or equivalent or previous experience in Risk management (Credit Risk)

- Knowledge of Credit Risk, Treasury products, operations, systems and related regulations.

- Knowledge of group risk systems, primary trading systems and static data systems desirable

- Knowledge of Global Banking and Markets sector(s) and/or Financial Services sector, terminology and issues an advantage.

- Knowledge of programming in VBA, Excel and SQL would be an advantage

- Previous experience in a Traded Credit Risk Control management environment is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated leadership skills, Experience in managing multi-cultural team would be an advantage

- Experience in documenting processes, developing KPIs and troubleshooting

- Very strong written and verbal skills

- Organizational, communication, interpersonal and lateral thinking skills (Essential).

- Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved.

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight time-lines.
