Trade Finance Manager - Commodity/FMCG/Consumer Product (4-8 yrs)

Education

Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance from premier institute.

Experience

4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably trade finance experience with bank/corporate.

Others Skills

Industry experience with a Commodity /FMCG/Consumer product focus and is a plus.

Working knowledge of SAP will be a great plus.

Exude a professional attitude, be courteous, friendly, organized and willing to take initiative.

Strong customer service (internal and external) orientation.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Specification:

Job Specific Comments

- Manage trade finance operations activities, viz. Letters of Credit (LCs), Documentary Collections, Trade Guarantees Standby LCs and Various forms of Short Term Trade Finance including Value added products.

- Execute transactions within pre-set standardized turnaround times for all trade finance activities and service level agreements with business units.

- Review department delivery processes with a view to ensure smooth workflow within the department, reduce turnaround times and achieve efficiency and cost benefits.

- Ensure that all transaction processing is following regulatory and Bank's policies, procedures and standards with prompt intervention to resolve problems/ concern areas.

- Prepare regular reports/ MIS and analysis for senior management for effective monitoring and control.

- Monitor all charges for standby, import & export letters of credit and export collections.

- Handling Product Registers.

- Prepare the monthly management accounts- Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and reporting to CFO directly,

- Assist external auditing teams of the company with respect to aiding them through trade finance and relevant accounting process.
