Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst - Auto Practice  Shortlisting criteria :  One of the following :  - Minimum 3 years of experience working in the Auto sector  - Experience in Auto manufacturing/OEMs/Tier 1/Tier 2 or any company in the auto supply chain either technical or in Corporate strategy role  - Experience and knowledge in Auto marketing/ vendor development or technical/ strategy consulting for auto sector  - Experience in a market research role in Auto new product development / Vendor Management / Auto industry trends / general automotive space.  - Please be aware that this is a desk-research profile and may not have the work environment of a shop floor  Interest check :  - A passionate Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical engineer willing to dive beyond the traditional auto industry and understand business behind the companies playing in this space  - Non Engineers having working knowledge in the Auto sector   - Interest in understanding emerging technology trends in the auto space  As a Auto Practice Senior / Lead Analyst you will :  - Oversee 2-3 closely related sectors in Auto Sector ranging from traditional auto segments like Auto Brands/Manufacturers, Auto Components to emerging segments like Smart Cars, Electric Vehicles and Auto Technology   - Provide mentor-ship and guidance to analysts in the team  - Engage with clients independently and provide detailed custom reports  - Develop deep expertise and become the go-to person for anything related to your sector  - Investigate 10 to 15 companies per day, understand their business models, curate them and publish them on the Tracxn Platform  - Work closely with marketing and deliver custom reports, newsletters and other deliverables  - The role revolves around conducting sector research, analyzing existing business models, tracking new start ups / technologies, tracking investor activity and building insights into landmark companies.  About Tracxn :  - Tracxn is a technology first platform that helps Investors discover startups across the world and make better investment decisions.
