Tower Research Capital LLC, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Senior Accountant to join its Accounting team. This hands-on role is a great opportunity to work in an innovative, dynamic environment. We are looking for a proactive team player who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.  RESPONSIBILITIES:  Prepare annual financial statements as per US GAAP. This role will initially be an individual contributor role, however will expand to people responsibilities as Shared Services grow. The remit includes:  Prepare month-end close, including valuation of underlying trading products, inter-company reconciliations of Tower entities  Liaise with internal Infrastructure teams on P&L and fee reconciliation  Contribute to related projects and manage changes  Work very closely with Global Finance and Trading teams in US, London and Singapore. The role includes frequent interaction with global teams.  Responsible to manage global stake holders (traders, middle office etc)  Oversee valuations for multiple entities, review and manage process exceptions and risks  QUALIFICATIONS:   A Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance with 9+ years of accounting experience (including finalization of accounts) with investment banks/financial/large stock broking firms  Strong domain knowledge in financial products, stocks and money market  Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel  Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
