Job Description - Reporting to the Head of Operations for the Centre, you will manage a team of over 50 while:

- Improving the cash involved in operations (Days of Purchases Outstanding (DPO)

- Adding value through positive impact on P&L and balance sheets at OpCo level

- Supervising the organization of suppliers bidding in accordance with the Group Procurement Standards and with local policies and practices for commodity products and services

- Overseeing the renegotiation, renewal and discontinuation of supplier contracts. Provide help and expertise to the buyers of his/her team as needed to negotiate the best deals price wise and quality wise with suppliers

- Managing the receiving, registering, matching and paying of all supplier invoices according to terms and conditions

- Supervising the closing of Accounts Payable sub-ledger in accordance with the agreed timetable

- Communicating all changes in Procurement and Accounts Payable policies and procedures received from the Group as well as from the Country. Optimizing procedures and keep them up-to-date

- Developing annual budgets as well as look at long-term (approximately 2-3 years in advance) spending and resourcing

The Successful Candidate: As a successful applicant you are an MBA/ Chartered Accountant with 12 years of post qualification experience, 8 of which have been closely associated with the entire Procure To Pay cycle. You have at least 5 years' experience in a shared services' multinational setup. Your knowledge of accounting is extremely strong. You have the experience and desire to lead large teams. You possess excellent team management and stakeholder management skills.
