Responsibilities include:  - Head Human Resource at Toppr HQ and satellite offices. Toppr is present currently in 7 cities and will expand to 25+ by the end of the year 2017.  - To develop organisation strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organisation strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organisational objectives.  - Implementing human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.  - To conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads. Manage costs to budget.  - Managing human resources operations by selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.  - Conducting training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads. Manage costs to budget.  - Setting up processes to ensure the smooth functioning of the business.  - Developing human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analysing results; initiating corrective actions; minimising the impact of variances.  - Facilitating effective employee relations & retention through Employee Engagement Initiatives Devise strategies on people development initiatives  - Accomplishing special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfilment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.  - Supporting management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analysing information and applications.  - Guiding management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organisation values.  - Compiling with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.  - Enhancing department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.  Requirements :  - 7+ years of experience working in People Operations/Human Resources, preferably in a high-growth startup environment .  - MBA from a premier institute XLRI,TISS,Symbiosis or equivalent institute .  - Experience rolling out and implementing Continuous Feedback and 360 performance review programs, designed to create an open line of communication and drive high performance across the organisation .  - Deep understanding of employment/labor laws.  - Experience developing orientation and training programs.  - Meticulous attention to detail.  - A high sense of urgency and ability to prioritise .  - An engaging and fun personality (not the - policy police- stigma of HR)  - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  - Experience with, knowledge of and opinion of newest generation of HRIS systems.  - Track record of integrity, discretion and ethical behaviour in all work situations, with a strong understanding and respect for keeping confidences with matters relating to people.
