Ad Ops Manager

Tookitaki is looking for mid-level ad ops manager with some serious Facebook and Display ad skills to help manage our growing client base. This role will be part client services and part advertising operations.

You should like to geek out on ads, but you should also have people skills. You should enjoy interacting with humans, but you should like giant monitors and when you hear the word dashboard you get goosebumps. You should also thrive in a fast-paced, quickly-changingstartup environment.

As an ad operations manager or coordinator you will be responsible for managing Facebook and Display ad campaigns for a book of clients and communicating directly with customers. Your role will start with the second sales meeting where you will help define the specifics of a campaign and walk the client through it. Then you will be in charge of executing the campaign that you helped define. You should be prepared to take ownership of our clients’ happiness and feel pride in that accountability.

You should be self-motivated, self-directed, and excited about solving hard problems.

You will have a lot of autonomy in everything from the tools, languages and frameworks you use, to even the problems you want to be solving on a day-to-day basis. You'll need a decent sense of how to balance speed and quality, order and chaos, and be comfortable without hard rules. If you can thrive in this kind of environment, everything else, from your educational history to the colour of your favourite socks, is secondary.

Desired Technical Requirements

- A college education (or a great reason why you don’t have one)

- 2-4 years of ad operations experience

- Great analytical and Excel skills (you can’t imagine your life without pivot tables)

- Fluency with all of Facebook and Google Display ad products and the ability to talk about them intelligently

- Ability to up sale and cross sale Tookitaki’s products to clients

Desired Soft Requirements

- Very strong communication skills both written and verbal.

- High intellectual horsepower and a high EQ

- A strong desire to work in startups.

- A strong desire to work in Tookitaki specifically - Ability to understand the changing adtech landscape and Tookitaki’s market fit.

- Dedication and the ability to play for the team and the company, not just for one’s self

Salary
