We are looking Sourcing Escalation Team Leader for world's leading Mining company based at Gurgaon.

Primary Purpose

The Sourcing escalation team leader will lead, motivate and develop a team of suitably experienced HR professionals responsible for the development of strategic and cost-effective sourcing plans to target complex and hard to fill roles and be accountable for the effective ongoing execution of this activity. The role will partner with regional R&T leadership and coordinate the sourcing escalation function to facilitate the delivery of market leading practices in complex sourcing.

Relationship building:

- Establish, develop and maintain strategic relationships with Team Leaders from the Talent Acquisition, Business Relationship and Recruitment operations teams to understand BU workforce plans and potential vulnerabilities and collaboratively develop talent management strategies focused on meeting BU strategic objectives

- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with advertising and agency vendors to ensure that the strategic value of these channels is maximised

- Support the business in promoting and leveraging the employer brand

- Act as a key facilitator to resolve talent management challenges and identify appropriate mitigation strategies

- Work closely with the global recruitment operations team to ensure sourcing knowledge and expertise is transferred and utilised in all sourcing activities

Operational delivery :

- Coordinate the utilisation of qualitative and quantitative data to inform sourcing strategies and deliver quality outcomes to stakeholders

- Actively promote and provide opportunities to ensure cost effective and appropriate sourcing medium strategies are available to the team

- Promote the external talent management process driving to reduce cost per hire and cycle time for placements

- Analyse and utilise primary and secondary market research on industry and competitor information to develop a more detailed understanding of the relevant labour markets and use this information for strategic sourcing and talent management outcomes

- Lead the implementation of regional recruiting systems and standards that are aligned with Global practices and standards

- Lead the development of tools, templates and training to ensure that knowledge of the sourcing environment is developed and utilised in all sourcing activities

- Proactively escalate issues and solutions to the Global operations manager including team workload, performance, metrics, service/project delivery and higher level issues

- Develop, maintain and promote a strong culture of exceptional service within the Sourcing escalation team while managing costs.

Relationship building :

- Contribute to the development of the Sourcing escalation, Global operations and Austrlian recruitment operations teams’ peer relationships to ensure a high level of support and confidence in the service provided

- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify innovative solutions to meet BU needs

- Actively promote an environment that encourages a strong culture of exceptional service where individuals and teams develop their potential and contribute their best

- Maintain high levels of customer and candidate care and quality service delivery

Leading others:

- Proactively establish processes that enable the team to deliver quality results in a timely manner

- Manage individual and team accountabilities by providing timely and constructive performance feedback for all direct reports

- Effective and proactive management of team resources to ensure optimum service delivery

- Provide direction, coaching and feedback to direct reports to develop and maximise skills, expertise and competencies

- Ensure a consistent level of quality service is provided by the team to stakeholders

Reporting :

- Proactively support Global operations, Recruitment operations, BR and TA team leaders and stakeholders by ensuring visibility of sourcing escalation activities and providing key metrics via regular reporting and analysis

- Utilise management reports and analysis of complex sourcing review activities as a basis for continuous improvement in stakeholder relationships by highlighting concerns/issues and providing appropriate recommendations/solutions

- Develop and maintain regular comprehensive reporting sourcing escalation metrics including productivity, effectiveness, diversity and quality of candidate

Problem solving

- Ability to interpret and translate BU strategy into talent management strategy that is pragmatic, achievable and successful

- Understanding of business transformation and the ability to develop and implement well researched and practical solutions to change management challenges in a complex global organisation

- High level of intellectual judgment, creativity and interpretative thinking to effectively challenge the status quo and influence senior business leaders and stakeholders such as business partners, BRM, TA and Managers

- Implementation and delivery of strategic sourcing processes, practices, programmes and systems in support of BU objectives within a changing / evolving global governance environment

- Engaging and influencing the wider R&T/HR teams on matters relating to the implementation of new strategic sourcing and talent management processes

- Analysis and evaluation of market research and development of recommendations regarding programme and structure design
