Position Summary:

Role :

The Sales Operations Manager will partner with cross-functional teams at TIL (including sales, operations, finance and business intelligence), with the primary objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions. The role will entail leading business planning and insights, operational reviews and strategic projects to drive scalable revenue growth and operational effectiveness in the sales organization.

Business planning and insights :

Annual Goal Setting : Revenue forecasting, account planning and tracking for the revenue function

- Ensure we have strong plans at a region, vertical/team and account level

- Support senior management in strategic, operational and financial planning and ensure decisions in line with the direct sales organization's approach

- Create and maintain key data sets and reporting to track and manage the performances of the sales teams. Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

Publisher Onboarding :

- Revenue potential assessment - projections and tracking for new publishers

- Tracking and evaluation of publisher performance

Advertiser and Yield Improvement :

- Work with cross-functional groups to evaluate advertising product performance, improve efficiency through automation, and lead product adoption and revenue opportunity analysis to identify short and long term growth opportunities

- Leading internal strategy projects for improving performance, yield, inventory utilization, creating efficiencies in organization

Strategic projects and initiatives :

- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the sales teams, product teams, Fin and HR.

- Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for sales teams, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization

- Lead/facilitate cross functional teams to get work done, driving recommendations through to implementation

- Drive operational excellence in the Sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

- Facilitate /Incubate various emerging businesses until they reach critical scale.

Key Interfaces :

Chief Revenue Officer, Corporate Strategy Team, Publishers (Internal and External), Sales Teams and Ad-Operations

Expectations :

- Experience leading strategy, operations and process improvement projects at a consulting firm or in a relevant strategy/operations team

- Change management experience a plus

- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)

- Able to develop or oversee advanced quantitative analysis and derive actionable insights Strong leadership and influencing skills

- can lead / influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

- Results and detail oriented, with strong commercial/business acumen

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Superior Excel and Powerpoint skills

Candidate Profile :

Essential Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, sales operations and /or business operations preferably in the digital media or internet space

- Must have at least 2 years+ in a consulting role in a major strategy consulting firm or a Big 4 consulting firm. ( KPMG, Ernst & Young, Delloite, Accenture)

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or other relevant/quantitative disciplines from a leading university, MBA a plus
