Business Function - Economic Times

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with stakeholders to determine project scope, functional & technical requirements that meets the users’ needs.

- Gather functional and technical requirements from stakeholders and work closely with Designers, Software Engineers and Software Testers to translate requirements into functional/technical designs and specifications.

- Take ownership in driving new/existing features through every stage of the product development life cycle.

- Collaborate effectively between development and test teams to execute on milestones/deliverable on schedule.

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of Business Analyst experience preferably in the financial domain

- Ability to creatively solve challenging business and technology problems.

- Highly developed sense of customer empathy.

- Experience in translating business requirements into detailed functional & technical designs and specifications.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the design and implementation of new features as well as resolve live site customer issues.

- Familiarity with web-based product development methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with Agile methodologies a plus. Should be familiar with a ticket tracking tool, preferably JIRA.

- Experience with a Service Oriented Architecture a plus
