Springboard Business

We specialize in identifying & creating future consumer trends, categories and disruptive business models. We invest advertising space across BCCL's group companies to build future brand-centric businesses. The Springboard model focuses on co-creating Super Brands from asset-light business concepts in lucrative categories. Through a 10%-90% spend on production-distribution and ATL marketing respectively, it enables effective use of the powerful Times group media muscle pie.

Role at offer

- Extensive involvement in consumer branding and investing space; identifying businesses and working with entrepreneurs to partner, invest, build, operate and exit consumer businesses

- Incumbent will be responsible for

Sourcing deals, preparing initial deal document, due diligence, negotiations, structuring and monitoring deals and/or

Working with investee companies and advising them on Marketing/Branding and/or

Working with investee companies and advising them on operations/technology

- Regular interaction with senior management (internal and client) hence incumbent is expected to have strong interpersonal and business development skills

- Ensuring compliance with pre & post-investment statutory requirements

- Any other portfolio-company related task as is necessary to enhance the value of the company to the potential client/partner

- Portfolio Management

Ideal Candidate

- Ideal candidate is an individual with experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, VC or PE who wants deep entrepreneurial experience

- A creative person, an out of box thinker, who can come up with new investment ideas and avenues for business expansion

- CA/CFA/MBA from top B-schools

- 4-8 years of relevant experience
