Times Group - Brand Manager - Navbharat Times (2-6 yrs)

We are looking for dynamic and creative Brand Managers for Navbharat Times, one of the largest selling Hindi newspapers in Delhi/NCR, Mumbai and Lucknow.

The Brand Team is engaged in following key activities:

Product initiatives:

- The team manages all activities related to new product launches and expansion of existing products to new markets.

Strategic initiatives:

- The team keeps coming out with ideas for keeping the brand apace with dynamic reader aspirations. This team conducts Brand Health studies and conducts research to understand what the readers want so that the product is geared to maximize readership.

Marketing initiatives:

- Handle Advertising development for marketing projects-Delhi/NCR and support North Markets

- Contribute toward development of a marketing calendar for Delhi/NCR markets

- Thematic & tactical communication for the brand encompassing various media. The team also conducts on ground activities related to overall brand activity to facilitate reader interactivity

- Work closely with media agencies, radio and outdoor partners to generate and execute plans to support activities

- Participate in developing communication with advertising agencies on assigned projects within assigned areas and push for new creative ideas

- Negotiate and enter into partnership with various constituents to deliver all marketing projects with maximum efficacy

Brand Profitability:

- This team acts as a custodian of brand profitability of existing and new editions and is responsible for cost control, vigilance over Direct Variable Cost of Navbharat Times. The team also recommends cost control measures when necessary

Editorial Coordination:

- Coordinate with internal departments (EDIT/RMD)as well as external agencies to deliver marketing projects

Who are we looking for-

Brand Managers, with a high creative quotient, from premier B-schools and with experience in the FMCG, Telecom, Agency space. Incumbents must have hands-on experience in managing key brands for at least 2-6 years.
