Senior Analyst - Email Operations - UK  Job Description :   Business Unit Overview : TimeInc UK Publishes over 50 magazines and websites.  Job Description: This position would require the individual to work directly with the local and UK email hub and local or UK designer to set up email campaigns on Salesforce (Exact Target). He/she would be responsible for briefing campaigns, gathering assets from marketing or sourcing where required, building campaigns in Salesforce, managing timelines, answering questions, reviewing test creatives, distributing reporting - email project management and despatch from start to finish  Overview of Responsibilities :  - To support the UK Head of Project Management in creating and delivering email campaigns that achieve Time Inc. (UK) email targets for newsletters, brand marketing, subscriptions and other new ecommerce initiatives.  - To ensure Time Inc. UK stays ahead of the market in innovation in email and digital marketing - understanding the competitive landscape and establishing best practice.  - To ensure timely email campaign delivery, either through appropriate triggers or by adhering to pre-existing campaign schedule.  Key Responsibilities :  Email design and delivery (Creative planning and design 10%/Project Management & Delivery 65% ) :   - Interpret creative briefs and make recommendations on email theme and creative look.  - Project manage the creation of all required emails. Campaigns will include:  - Solus, title specific campaigns (e.g. for Marie Claire only)  - Title cluster campaigns (e.g. sports magazines)  - Newsletters  - Marketing emails   - CRM emails  - Any other ad-hoc campaigns   - Emails need to be briefed and sent in accordance with the campaign calendar, adhering to all campaign launch deadlines.  - Ensure design and creative innovation and consistency across all our assets, following best practice for email design, with a focus on responsive design.   Project Management (10 %) :  - Oversee the workflow of two execs, ensuring jobs are fairly allocated between the team.  - Assisting the Head of Project Management with the coordination of email calendars and other project management tools  Reporting :  - Work with the Head of Project Management to analyse results for all campaigns, reporting to the Head of Project Management and wider Email Hub on key trends and innovations and identifying opportunities and problem areas.  - Work alongside Brand Title Managers/Executives to ensure understanding of campaigns, marketing potential and performance reporting for Publishers and Finance teams.  - Regularly reports to the Head of Project Management on performance of campaigns  - Acting as a second to the Head of Project Management in updating/reporting on overall email activity and results and circulating to the business when required.  Strategy planning (50 % ) :   - Work alongside the Head of Project Management to create a structured email testing plan, ensuring this strategy and associated campaigns follow wider team objectives.  - Ensure that strategies are communicated, understood and followed.  - As and when appropriate, develop specific strategies for key titles to be agreed with the Head of Project Management.  Requirements :  - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar field with some technical knowledge  - Related experience with a focus on executing online/email campaigns or project management.  - Minimum of 5 years email marketing experience, including working with triggered campaigns and flows.  - Self-motivated with a genuine interest in email marketing.  - Excellent written and verbal English.  - Experience working with Exact Target (Salesforce).or similar tools  - Excellent understanding of email design best practice, including responsive/mobile first strategies.  - Ability to problem-solve and self-teach in order to overcome obstacles and keep up to date with the latest email marketing innovations.  - Obsessive attention to detail.  - Ability to interpret creative briefs in order to bring campaigns to life.  - Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities (for themselves and others) and meet deadlines.  - Ability to keep a project moving by negotiating timelines when necessary, but holding firm to them when needed.  - Ability to pull, report and analyse data  - Must be extremely proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel  - Experience or knowledge of HTML email creation.  - Should be able to fix minor rendering issues of email tests.  Salary offered: upto 10 LPA
