The exact designation will be in line with your expertise/experience.   Key Responsibilities:  - Participate in CPG client workshops / meetings on applications of analytics.   - Help clients prioritize different themes and high impact ones based on business value and complexity (based on data availability, ease of implementation, business adoption etc.)  - Translate business problems to analytical problems that can be solved by data scientists   - Bring appropriate business perspective to data science projects  - Articulate to client stakeholders the business value delivered by data science initiatives  - Be the go-to-person for the project teams to gain knowledge about the Retail & CPG industry   Requirements:  - Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders from the Retail & CPG industry spanning multiple Retail categories and multiple CPG formats   - Knowledge of applying analytics across multiple functions in the Retail & CPG landscape:   Retail: Customer & CRM, Merchandising & Assortment, Pricing/Promotions, Marketing, Store/E commerce, Inventory Management, Supply Chain,   CPG: Brand & Consumer Insights, Traditional & Digital media Insights, Retail partner channel insights (across physical store and ecommerce)  - Consulting skills to drive structure into discussions and workshops through industry specific or generic frameworks (value-complexity based prioritization matrix)  - Excellent client communication and presentation skills  Preferred:  Participation in prior analytics/data science projects for Retail & CPG clients  Basic data proficiency and experience with common tools/technologies used in analytics  Background:  - MBA from a tier-1 institute  - 8-12 years of relevant domain rich experience  - Willingness to travel
