Reporting Manager: Senior Consultant

Location: Gurgaon

Job Summary

Reporting to a Senior Consultant the Project Consultant will be executing proof-of-concept of our solution offerings in areas of Transport Optimization (Fleet Routing, Managed Transport Services,Transport Sourcing) to a potential client.

ThinkLink has a strong implementation focus, and work along-side clients, with a hands-on approach to implement our recommendations, and measure results. Therefore, our Consultants need the ability to work in the office, present in a board-room, and roll up their sleeves and work on a warehouse floor.

The individual will also work with the leadership team of ThinkLink in Knowledge development, Capability Building and Business Development

Key Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Analyst will engage with prospect customers for briefings, demos, Proof of concepts.

His major responsibilities will be

- Solution Preparation/Proposal based on Customers Requirements

- Product demonstrations

- Proof of Concept Creation

- Creation of Marketing Documents

- Provide technical subject matter expertise in a pre-sales capacity for prospect clients

- Preparing and giving product demonstrations

- Preparing, writing and giving technology and product architecture presentations. Create detailed use cases.

- Ownership of design, business requirements, feature and functionality tradeoffs and release schedule for
the customer product.

- Documentation of solution specification/design, workflow design/process

- Participate in revenue planning and pricing decisions for new customers and improvement’s.

- Define customer product roadmaps that align to strategic goals.

- Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive services

- Maintain product and customer knowledge database with input coming from prospects.

- Continuous improvement and refinement of pre-sales processes and best practice strategies.

- Build custom demo’s

- Provide first-line technical support for evaluations and/or pilot projects

- Deliver Proof Of Concepts

- Build technical relationship with prospects or existing customers

- Provide any technical input needed for proposals

Education Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (IIT’s & Tier 1 Engineering Colleges only)

- Masters (Business/Engineering) in Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics (preferred)

- Any relevant industry specific Certifications/Memberships (desirable)

Experience Requirements

- 2 - 4 Years of prior work experience in Pre-Sales role focused on Supply Chain preferably in Services Sector

Skill and Knowledge Requirements

- Experience in a Supply Chain /Logistics Consulting environment is mandatory.

- Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations from data and analysis

- Demonstrated Project Management skills are a must, including with stakeholders in a client organization and delivering projects

- Exposure to working on databases, Access and SQL, is preferred

- Expert use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and tools like Visio and MS Project is expected
