Porter, started by three IIT graduates in 2014, is an online marketplace for logistics in India. We have a fleet of Mini Trucks or LCV's under our command and operational in all major metros. We are trying to address market inefficiencies and low capacity utilisation in the logistics sector using mobile technology.

We have shown steep growth in past few months. To keep up with our growth and to expand our business in new geographies, we are looking for - Expansion Manager-, who is primarily responsible for identifying new potential cities, leading & launching our business in those cities till the targeted growth is achieved.

Designation: Manager Expansion

Roles & Responsibility:

- Identify potential market for growth by analyzing supply & demand potential, competitor's strength & weakness, geography knowledge and pain points of customers, to come up with the potential expansion plan.

- Forecasting supply and demand required for city launch; design operation & financial plan

- Hire city team members & train them as per the requirement; co-ordinate with supply & demand team to ensure the target is achieved as per the expansion plan.

- Explore new opportunities to accelerate growth

- Ability to handle of all launch related activities. Launch city operation and achieve pre-determined goal.

- Hand-over the business to city operation team for further growth

Skills Required:

- The candidates with start-up (operations) background is preferred.

- Ability to manage team size of 10-15 members and keep them motivated

- Analytical approach to solve problems & result-oriented

- Ready to travel and explore new cities

- BE with 0-3 years of experience
