Looking for Male candidate with one of our esteemed client in FMCG Industry. We have an opening for the position of - Technical Manager- based at Mumbai

Designation : Technical Manager

Reporting to : Head of Technical

Location : Mumbai

Job Description :

- Responsible for process improvement efforts aimed at reducing loss

- Providing hands on process and equipment support

- Responsible for Developing plant process improvement programs that improve consistency and control of current manufacturing processes (SOP- s)

- Responsible for Investigating new methods to improve plant performance including equipment, statistical tools, troubleshooting methods etc.

- Determines priorities with the Plants, implements assigned projects and maintains detailed documentation as required.

- Stays informed concerning new manufacturing technology and equipment, and investigates their potential application.

- Develop subordinates through education, training, and teamwork.

- Hire, train, direct and mentor staff and all plant employees with diverse language, cultural and educational background.

- Utilize technical tools to reduce scrap, to analyze capacity, to improve throughput, and to enhance overall process efficiencies and profitability.

- Perform validations for process or efficiency improvements as major changes are implemented. Initiate revised standard operating procedures based on changes, and ensure implementation. Provide operator training as necessary.

- Initiate, coordinate, and manage any equipment or material trials required for analysis. Coordinate trial schedules with planning.

- Support quality initiatives to ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectations.

- Build and maintain productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction.

- Identify, propose, and implement capital projects to improve operational performance.

- Coordinate with PET manager of plant for equipment maintenance and repair. Support machine installation or removal as needed.
