Technical Lead/Technical Architect - Core Java

Role:

- The candidate would develop the core platform (a cooperative JCP/JSR style model)

- Work with, and mentor a very smart but compact team of engineers to create the future!

- Lead or be a part of a team designing and developing next generation of GIS based products

- Design and Develop a software product, including designing cutting-edge algorithms

- Gather, understand and refine product specifications by talking to product managers and customers.

- Work in a collaborative atmosphere, mentoring software engineers

- Work with end-users and other members of the development team

- Unit and System Test the product

- Project Planning, Management and regular Status updates.

Skill Set:

- Total Experience of atleast 7-15 years into Core Java.

- Experience in product development

- Experience in Core Java such as threading, memory management, collections, IO, design patterns, algorithms, pooling, exceptions

- Good analytical and logical skills

- Excellent time management skills

- Good oral communication skills

- Self Driven – must be able to analyze the risks, resource planning, etc.

- Experience with SQL and RDBMS (at least 1 DB)

- Must have used at least 1 application server such as Tomcat
