Technical Account Manager - Customer Onboarding - Startup (3-6 yrs)
This is for a San Francisco based startup client looking at setting up India Operations. They are on a mission to transform the world of apps and data by helping companies better understand their mobile users. It provides mobile measurement & user intelligence solutions for enterprise marketers, allowing them to effectively measure marketing efforts and understand user retention & engagement, lifetime value, and other unique business metrics. App marketers can optimize their acquisition efforts, identify their most valuable users, segment high-performing audiences for re-engagement & look-alike modeling, and integrate mobile into their larger CRM efforts.
We are looking for adding a Technical Account Manager (TAM) based in Bangalore, India with overall responsibility for customers in India and SouthEast Asia.
About the Position :
- Serve as project manager for all customer on-boarding. Oversee all solution delivery to get clients properly implemented on our solution.
- Execute technical deliverables as defined in accordance with the signed MSA.
- Ensures customers are properly trained on the platform to enable optimal use.
- Identifies incremental revenue opportunities and hold regular client QBRs (in-person and remotely).
- Cultivate client relationships and reference accounts that will speak positively on the platform.

- Entrepreneurial spirit and have a reputation for integrity, accountability and responsibility, and are a strong team player with experience in project management and account management to large accounts.
- Professional experience and 3+ years relevant experience leading technical implementations and ongoing technical relationships with large companies.
- Consistent record as a top performer in account management and project management.
- Eagerness and ability to understand client needs and modify customer on-boarding process in order to improve implementations.
Qualifications and Responsibilities include :
- Candidate has a technical background
- Must come from the digital advertising industry (mile experience is a plus)
- Manage 25 accounts (India & SEA)
- The ability to travel throughout India and SEA
- Provide regular updates to the account director, product team and management on customer satisfaction
- A key measurement will be customer renewals, churn, and account growth
- Technical or Special Knowledge: Knowledge of ad technology, mobile, media, SaaS models, etc.
Experience : Strong presentation skills, 3+ years account management and sales experience, proven track record of success managing large accounts, experience with mobile, online advertising, and ad-technology, understanding of international markets. TAM's spend most of their time doing the following with customers: training customers how to use software, troubleshooting, up-sellling, contract renewals, building relationships, etc. Travel onsite to customer locations where appropriate.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
