About our Client - A major Investment Banking client of ours, requires a service delivery manager to take the responsibility for the provision of Applications Service Delivery services for their global Middle Office, Risk Management Applications in one of their major trading areas. This is a global client with a increasing footprint of the Indian operations, which is dedicated as their captive technology center.
Job Description - As the Technical Lead you will be responsible for:
- Leading the engineering and support of the mainframe portion of the middleware setup
- The set of middleware components facilitate the passing of messages between the back-office systems and the front-end order entry and advisor desktop systems
- The role will manage a small number of employees and also involve management of external consultants
The Successful Candidate - As the successful applicant, You would have 10+ years of using COBOL, VSAM, JCL and TSO
- You need to have extensive use of debugging tools such as Intertest, Omegamon
- You will have strong MQ experience
- Good experience with engineering experience (SDLC)
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You will be confident in communicating effectively to various groups - application development, infrastructure groups
- You must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor
- Ability to analyze and define project requirements
- Knowledge of source management software
- Have worked on financial or banking institutions
- Capable of working in service oriented organization and focused on quality of service
- Knowledge of CICS Web Services
