This is a Senior Team Lead position. The incumbent will be leading a large team reporting directly to the Head of Trade Operations.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

- Thorough understanding of regulatory and market requirements (both domestic and international locations) in Trade and design and conduct of operations incorporating aforesaid aspects in a highly efficient and proactive manner.

- Optimal utilization of resources in maximizing output through minimal inputs even in designing customized solutions

- Effective collaboration with internal teams (like Compliance, legal, product teams) and external entities (RBI,DGFT etc.) and achieving logical closure of issues in a timely

- Using business process re-engineering as a key tool in achieving setting benchmark in customer satisfaction

- Catalyst in promoting positive group dynamics towards promoting pro-active customer service amongst team members and energizing the team

- Adoption of industry best practices through active participation with industry experts

- Adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time) internally and externally

- Responsible for timely and accurate Regulatory and Financial reporting

- Using automation as a key driver in enhancing productivity and leading such initiative

- Pro-active leadership traits in capability enhancement, manpower management, timely and structured feedback to employees.

- Regular meeting with customers to know the requirements and needs related to their business. Manage relationship with the existing as well as with the new clients

Deliverables:

- Customer Service:

a) Manage key branch relationships

b) Ensure TAT within permissible limits as per segmental service approach

c) Achieve customer service index scores target

d) Ensuring no escalations at branch and complaint handling

e) Eliminate operational losses

- Compliance and Risk Management :

a) Ensure operations, risk control and process adherence at trade service unit

b) Ensure RBI audits, Internal audits and inspections are attended in efficient manner

c) Maintain audit scores

- Brand Administration:

a) Adhere to standardized unit guidelines

b) Upkeep and maintain the unit (spic and span adherence to FIVE S norms)

c) Ensure availability of necessary infrastructure in the unit

Skills and Competencies required for the role:

- Analytical Skills

- Good Communication Skills

- Knowledge and ability to structure the trade transactions

- Strong network within and outside the bank

- Complete understanding of transaction banking and trade transaction life cycle
