Work Location : Mumbai, Malad.  Shift : UK Shifts (1:30 to 10:30)  JOB PURPOSE:  Team Leader - BI MIS is responsible for ensuring maintenance of complete data & reports for the Contact Centre, conducting statistical analysis and keeping his project manager and other stakeholders updated on key activities and tasks.  PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:  I. To maintain data and reports for the Contact Centre  - Maintains complete data and reports for the Contact Centre in a timely and accurate fashion.  - Liaises with internal stakeholders to understand their data and reporting concerns.  - Personalizes new MIS requirements from Operations perspective and as required for accurate business information.  - Identifies security needs for MIS processes and systems to minimize any data loss/theft.  - Manages and supervises the dashboards for advisor appraisals and related rewards and recognition program and other data linked activities.  - Creates, maintains and applies Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the MIS team.  II. To conduct statistical analysis  - Analyzes available data and reports, by using statistical tools (if required), to gain a better understanding of issues/concerns impacting business.  - Through data analysis, identifies concerns or threats to recommend effective prevention and recovery mechanisms to business.  - Devises and recommends strategies (to project manager) for minimizing the impact of any potential threats identified through data analysis.  - Highlights areas of concerns in terms of contact centre statistical parameters.  - Devises and recommends effective statistical parameters.  III. To interface with and update internal and external stakeholders  - Interfaces with key customers to understand and collect their reporting needs, to receive feedback from them on the reports generated and how they can be changed or improved.  - Keeps the project manager and the end users informed of task accomplishments, issues and status.  - Serves as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other teams.  - Provides status reporting of team activities against the program plan and schedule.  - Acts as a gatekeeper for all ad-hoc requests that come in from the customers.  - Liaises with functional managers and team sponsors to obtain necessary resources to support the team's requirements.  - Liaises with different departments to standardize similar reports across clients, departments and teams.  - Communicates findings to management and supervisor and translates non-technical questions into quantifiable tasks.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED   Functional Skills and Competencies:  - Understands Business Intelligence team strategy and the reasons behind the strategy.   - Understands and knows the organization and business drivers that impact the organization.  - Understands the purpose, roles, tasks, duties and responsibilities of his role and how it links to the other roles.  - Has demonstrated knowledge of basic project management techniques and implementation of the same.  - Experience with database software/web applications such as Business Objects, Crystal Enterprises, etc.  - Understands and knows Data Cleansing and other related activities.  - Understands and is effective in using Microsoft Office applications like MS Excel, MS Access, etc. (should know application such as correlation, forecasting, trend analysis, etc.)  - Understands Structured Query Language (SQL).  - Knowledge of 'Relational Database Management Systems' (RDBMS). (Desirable)  - Understands and knows Java Programming and Systems Analysis and Design.
