Introduction on the Unit  The Digital Software and Solutions (DS&S) Group in TCS is partnering with customers in leading Digital Transformation initiatives across the domains of Customer Intelligence, Digital Commerce and Intelligent Infrastructure. The group is focused on bringing industry focused pre-integrated software that brings together the disruptive technologies of Big Data Analytics, Mobility, Social and Cloud in order to accelerate Digital Transformation Initiatives in order to increase organizational efficiencies and more importantly how companies will be engaging with their customers.   This role is for the Requirements and Architecture Specification team within the DS&S unit.  Competencies Required (Technical/Behavioral Competency)  a) Good translation skills to be able to translate business goals into specific objectives and further into details (Capable of understanding the Market Research done by the product management team and translate them into a Functional Design Specification)  b) Good communication and writing skills to build the Functional Design document and convey them to the Engineering team for implementation  c) Good knowledge across domains (especially Retail & CPG, Telecommunication and Banking & Financial Services) - preferably in 2 domains  d) Product development experience  e) Capable of guiding the testing team to explain the functionality and validating the test cases created by the testing team  Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role   (i) Translate market requirements into business requirements for enabling product development  (ii) Validate product features with anchor customer requirements and market feedback from analysts  (iii) Functional Design specification document preparation  (iv) Reviewing the system test cases prepared by the quality assurance team  (v) Preparing acceptance test scenarios for product acceptance testing
