OBJECTIVE

- To support identified strategic transformation projects – drive to successful achievement of project objectives

- To drive identified strategic SME projects

MAJOR DELIVERABLES

1. Transformation Projects

- Support project management from beginning to end

- Liaise with project team on an ongoing basis

- Track project milestones and deliverables

- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths

- Support in the development and delivery of progress reports, updates and presentations

2. SME Projects

- Bring structured project management to run identified projects

- Work with the project sponsor and leader in the definition of project scope, goals, deliverables and definition of success

- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end

- Liaise with project lead on an ongoing basis

- Track project milestones and deliverables

- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths

- Develop and deliver progress reports, updates and presentations

- Proactively identify potential risks and devise contingency plans

- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify the “hits” and the “misses”

Essential Attributes

- Good understanding of project planning and project management processes and tools

- Sound analytical capabilities

- Problem Solving Skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and elicit cooperation within and across work levels and departments

- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Proven track record of high performance as demonstrated in performance ratings over three years

Desired Attributes

- PMP / PMI Certification

- Telecom experience

- Hands on experience in working with Quality methodology / tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, Sankalp

- MBA / CA / BE from a reputed university

- 7-10 years with at least 2-3 years of project management experience
