Senior Manager – Risk (BIU) - Thane 	 Business Vertical: Shared Services 	 Department: Risk - BIU	  Designation: Senior Manager  Line of Business: Commercial Finance & Consumer Finance  Proposed Immediate Superior: Assistant Vice President - Risk 	  Grade: M4  Key Objective of the Job:  - Provide analytical solutions to business problems; provide data analysis & automation support to different business functions; coordinate with IT & Business users.  Background  Risk-Business Intelligence team is responsible for catering to all Risk MIS need for the organization along with delivering analytical solutions. The team is responsible for building and maintaining various applications, application and behavioral scorecards for different retail and corporate lending portfolios that include housing loans, car loans, personal loans, business loans, Channel Finance, SME Finance, Project Finance and CEQ among others.  Job description  Apart from regular MIS activities, Managers at Risk-Business Intelligence are responsible for designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art, data-driven predictive models to solve business problems. The incumbent is expected to be innovative in problem solving approaches, drawing on many disciplines and analytic techniques and thus producing measurable business improvements.  Managers are responsible for conceiving of approaches to create powerful analytic solutions; training and developing junior analytics staff; working with teams to analyze big datasets to determine suitability for model building; ensuring the clean up and filtering of data reserves; leading the efforts to find patterns, select variables, and extract features in large datasets; experimenting with algorithms; completing performance analyses; and communicating to and working with internal stakeholders. Managers are typically responsible for managing analytics efforts in several projects at one time and hence need to be good at multi tasking.  Considering the vast scope of analytics, a willingness and desire to learn and upgrade is a must.  Major Deliverables :-  - Predictive modeling & Quantitative Analysis – Developing risk scorecards and risk based pricing models  - Specific Risk Analytics & Collection Analytics, Early Warning System Developments  - Statistical Modeling, Loss Forecasting  - Cross Sell Analytics, CRM Analytics  - Interact with Business users to understand the requirements and provide Innovative Ideas for Business Development using data analysis techniques  - Designing and Execution of MIS & Automation Projects  - Coordinate with IT for solution development & implementation  - Team Management & Development  Specialized job competencies:  - SAS, MS Excel, VBA  - Statistical Modeling  Educational Qualification: Post Graduate/ Graduate in Statistics/Engineering, MBA  Desired Experience:   - 5-6 Yrs of experience in BFSI Sector (Preferably in Consumer & Corporate Finance)  - Data/Financial Process Orientation  - Managing 2-3 members team  Other desired attributes:  - Individual performer as well as Team Player  - Desire to constantly upgrade  - Good presentation skills  Location - Thane
