Key Objective of the Job:   - Creation and marketing of Research products to customers  Major Deliverables:   - Detailed analysis of mutual fund schemes in all categories  - Short-list of funds to be recommended to customers  - Reports at weekly and monthly intervals presenting the analysis and conclusions   - Communication and marketing of reports to customers - retail and institutional  Specialized job competencies:  - Ability to quickly grasp facts and figures   - Thorough understanding of mutual funds and the variables that impact their NAV and AUM  - Sound knowledge of financial statements, accounting and, financial analysis  - Knowledge of forecasting techniques and valuation methods  - Above average proficiency in written and spoken English  Educational Qualifications:   - Graduate with a post-graduate qualification in Business Management / CFA / CA (exceptional cases without post-graduate qualifications may be considered if they have demonstrated skill and experience in the specialized job competencies)  Desired Experience:  - 2 years experience with a credit rating firm or other firm that is engaged in analysis of Mutual Funds   - Hands-on experience in analysis of Mutual Fund data  - Writing experience will be given priority, if there are two candidates with comparable credentials  Other desired attributes:  - Ability to grasp quant concepts and to implement activities based on these concepts
