Tally Solutions - Project Lead - Engineering (9-13 yrs)
Objective
1. Ensure that the teams are delivering code that meets required quality and timelines.
2. To drive engineering team excellence.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Operational:
- Communicate and create clarity with teams on project objectives and expectations.
- Plan, schedule and track work with team.
- Drive quality output with the team.
- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
- Ensure that the team follows and adheres to all processes and disciplines.
- Participate in improve function excellence by recommending changes in policies and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness of teams.
- Drive a culture of function excellence with the team.
- Participate in design specification creation.
- Participate in analysis and design.
People:
- Help team (within or across teams) adjust to changing priorities to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
- Strive for team consensus and win-win agreements.
- Identify team potential skills and help them nurture the same by providing work opportunities.
- Identify training requirements for the team and ensure people and trained and enabled.
- Recognize and celebrate team's and team member's accomplishments and exceptional performance.
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing.
- Good knowledge of Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Architecture.
Experience & Skills:
Mandatory Experience Required
- Managing team of 10+ people with two levels of reporting
- Owning responsibility for quality and timelines of module independently.

- Should be capable of articulating project requirements with in and across teams.
- Must have good Project Management skills.

- Knowledge and experience in Mobile Technologies /Java/.NET.
