Objectives :

- To specify market requirements for one customer vertical identified for India SAARC regions, add initiatives to current and future product roadmap for the customer vertical, be accountable for business outcomes.

- To drive a solution across development teams through market requirements, product requirements and positioning statement.

- Developing and implementing GTM strategy for the customer vertical and work with marketing and other teams to execute.

Position Hierarchy :

Reports to : Senior Product Manager(PMM Function)

Key Areas of Responsibility :

- Execute new product/release initiatives that are aligned with the customer vertical(s).

- Analyze and review current product performance to reveal opportunities for improvement or enhancement

- Identify strengths and weaknesses of product offering and provide recommendations to achieve company goals

- Empathize with customers deeply to be able to translate behavior into market stories and product requirements.

- Responsible to discover sub segments in the customer vertical, build business cases and understand the product's positioning.

- Responsible to ensure complete understanding of the current marketing mix (7Ps includes pricing and total cost of ownership) and provide recommendations for potential corrections/changes.

- Help in triaging and addressing issues in production.

- Liase with product documentation team to deliver user manuals for the product.

- Provide GTM and marketing support for product sales.

- Enable sales function with market stories and product functionality.

- Responsible for driving marketing research to quantify and qualify the target market's size and growth, customer needs, competitive landscape and product direction, integrating the voice of the customer and market analysis to prioritize product direction.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree required

- MBA from a premier institute will be an additional advantage.

Experience & Attributes :

- A minimum of 6 years in software products industry.

- A minimum of 1 year in product management experience.

- A strong inquiry based approach that will allow you to get past assumptions, understand essential metrics needed to solve a problem and an ability to use this to learn rapidly in areas where you have limited knowledge.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
