Objective

- Take ownership for delivery of any major and technically challenging assignment, primarily as an individual contributor.

- Participate in achieving the technical vision of the company.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Strategic:

- Participate in design and architecture (DnA) with senior technical group and own/validate overall systems design in line with the technology strategy and vision of the company.

Operational:

- Own the design and architecture of specific areas that have been assigned.

- Take responsibility for detailed analysis, spec creation, engineering design and code test design of the assigned area.

- Provide unit tested code.

- Provide necessary expertise and support to other delivery leads ensuring design and engineering quality.

- Follow prevailing practices regarding documentation, coding standards, development tools.

- Delivery is critically expected to meet the attributes of Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Robustness and Security.

Educational Qualification:

- B.Tech in Computer Science

- M.Tech would be an additional advantage

Knowledge:

- Should be an expert in C/C++, Data Structures and Algorithms, Object oriented programming.

- Should have advanced level knowledge in one or more areas - Networks, Memory, Processors, Disk IO, Security, Operating Systems.

- Sound knowledge of Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Architecture.

Experience & Skills:

- Must have at least 10+ years of experience in creating and delivering technically challenging system level projects with hands on experience of working with low level OS artifacts.
