Talent Acquisition Manager - IT (8-12 yrs)

Designation - Manager - Talent Acquisition

Reporting To - Functionally to Head HR / Administratively to the CEO

Job Location - Chennai

Desired Experience & Education

- Bachelor's degree is a must / MBA preferable , Minimum of 8+ years experience as a recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

- Partnering with hiring managers to identify key recruiting needs and utilizing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

- Recruit candidates through a variety of means such as professional associations, job fairs, conferences, online recruiting etc..

- Manage as well as conduct preliminary/final interviews and ensure high quality hires are made ,in compliance with policies and procedures.

- Manage the entire recruiting life cycle, from candidate profile generation through sourcing, interviewing, influencing hiring decisions, initiating background check, making compensation recommendation in discussion with hiring managers, salary negotiations with candidate, extending the offer letter to candidate .

- Produce status reports indicating recruiting activity, costs, and candidate status.

- Assist managers in the development of job descriptions and recruiting requisitions as and when needed.

- Work with management to identify process improvements and make recommendations for change

- Candidates needs to be aware of new innovative sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices and needs to know how to utilize web searches and social media sites to create communicate and generate leads

- Proven experience driving the recruiting process, with accountability for meeting weekly and monthly hiring goals.

Competency Skills

- Ability to partner with VP level hiring managers, providing an administrative and consultative approach to hiring strategy.

- Background in a banking &financial services environment is desirable

- Effective communication skills (oral & written); ability to persuade and negotiate salaries with candidates

- Ability to work independently

- Skills in database management and reporting

- Strategic Thinking Skills

- Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
