We are looking for AGM - Quality & Management Representative.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Implement the quality philosophy for the organization around Quality Control and Quality Assurance involving inspection, identification of bad quality, rejection and process improvement to reduce poor quality production in the organization/ plant

- Ensure preparation of timely and accurate counter measures to address customer issues

- Provide support to other departments (internal customers) in managing quality within their processes

- Finalize the department budget and ensure adherence to department budgets and minimize operating costs and overheads

- Monitor the cost due to rejections and rework and support other departments in controlling the same

- Conduct periodic visits to the customers to ensure that any critical issues are addressed on priority

- Conduct periodic visits to the suppliers of the plant to ensure ongoing improvement in their service

- Monitor the in-process quality by setting standards and supporting the production teams to adhere to the same

- Ensure that patrol inspection schedules are adhered to, and review the inspection reports on a periodic basis

- Review customer/supplier rejection reports and ensure implementation of action plans

- Ensure quality of incoming material from all vendors supplying to the plant

- Monitor and control issues with regard to quality of suppliers for the plant

- Review Quality incidents investigation reports and give inputs to Plant Manager in case of batch rejections

- Suggest corrective and preventive actions to the Plant Manager in order to prevent rejection of future batches

- Conduct root cause analysis of the quality related issues/incidents and ensure required countermeasures

- Ensure that incidents are dealt with as per standard operating procedures and within prescribed timelines

- Conduct in-process quality checks by testing the product sample at critical points for ensuring high quality output

- Ensure that the finished goods meet all quality standards and conduct a thorough check for any deviation

- Ensure compliance with local/national/international standards and legislation

- Oversee the PDI related activities and ensure that the products dispatched meet the required standards

- Drive quality related improvement projects at the plant including customer projects as well as internal improvement initiatives

- Review the standard room reports periodically to ensure that the gauges are calibrated accurately

- Ensure that all quality related compliances and standards for the plant are met

- Collect and analyze data related to product for which complaints is received and present it to respective teams (Production, Procurement etc.)

- Respond to critical quality complaints from customers and evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions taken for critical market complaints and ensure that complaints are closed in a timely manner

- Lead the Quality Audits for the plant by coordinating with all departments and ensuring effective implementation of the same

- Ensure timely completion of all stages of Performance Appraisal Process

- Take responsibility for people development initiatives and building in-house capabilities for the employees in the department.

Functional/ Technical Skills required

- Knowledge of acceptable quality standard

- Knowledge of Quality Control Practices

- Knowledge of ISO requirements and up gradation of standards

- Knowledge of product and the product process
