Job Title: Sr Manager/Dy GM (NESA)  Job Role: State Head (NESA)  Reporting to: Regional Head  Job Location: Guwahati  Job Purpose:  To achieve and enable achievement of Sales & Revenue Collection targets through planning & execution of various sales & collection strategies in the assigned State/s.   To ensure that the potential of the state is mapped and harnessed.   To cater to Channel objectives for Market Coverage - directly and/or through distributors.  Principle Accountabilities:  - Achievement of Revenue, Collection & Growth Targets of Analogue Platforms  Business forecasting and target setting  Formulation of sales strategies  Monitoring of and review of target achievements  - Process Management  Agreement Renewals  Dunning Process & IRD Seeding  - New Sales  Plan and monitor for the new sales as per plan  - Ensuring Leadership in the market  Market scanning and proactively planning appropriate sales and distribution strategies and tactics /initiatives  Reach/Connectivity study & monitoring  Market segmentation and devising strategies across various segments  - Effective functioning of the Sales force across the State for proper delivery of products and services to the customer  Ensuring creation of systems and their effective functioning  Coordination between sales and support team  Facilitating Resolution of inter-departmental issues  Market Coverage  - Effective, efficient and high revenue generating Distribution Network / Management  Distributor Management and Development  Recommending appointment of Distributors and monitoring their performance  Recommending suitable actions to Operations, Finance and Marketing functions  Planning and monitoring the Distributor infrastructure development  - Field Problem Resolutions like Piracy and Legal issues  Providing forums for and Co-ordinating with respective functions to ensure that these problems are tackled effectively  - High morale and motivation across the State team and having a well-trained sales force  Coaching and Mentoring  Ensure people development  Inculcating a high achievement orientation, team spirit  Team staffing and training  Facilitation towards provision of support from support team  - Affiliate Relationship Management  Actively involve Marketing for building continuous relationship with our affiliates/partners  - Competition Monitoring  Keep a track of the Competition/ Activities  Highlight any new initiative/Activity by the Competition  Qualifications : MBA / PGDBM in Sale & Marketing  Experience: 10 - 14 years of experience, preferably from a TV Channel distribution/Media, DTH, Telecom industry with a channel distribution sales & marketing exposure to North East region.
