Job Description : Senior Manager - Direct Tax

- Experience of handling of more than 5 team members and a good team leader.

- Well versed with domestic and international tax laws (including transfer pricing) and good interpretational skills.

- Practical experience of independently preparing computation of income tax, advance tax working, MAT working, interest liability, tax holiday/exemption workings, applying ICDS/GAAR/POEM provisions. (with minimal involvement of seniors)

- Practical experience of independently preparing and filing tax returns, TDS returns, tax holiday/exemption certificates, tax audit reports, online reply to tax notices, etc. (with minimal involvement of seniors)

- Practical experience of independently handling and representing scrutiny and appellate matters.

- Practical experience of working on FEMA, collating necessary information, undertaking research, creating reports / opinions, etc.

- Drafting/review of share purchase/sale agreements, subscription agreements, trust deeds, business transfer agreements, asset sale / purchase agreements, etc.

- Good drafting and analytical skills.

- Effective delegation of work, ensuring timely and quality delivery of assignments. Be responsible for all projects and proactively keeping track of outstanding matters and regularly updating seniors on status.

- Good liaisoning skills with clients, team members and at tax department, etc.

- Identifying business opportunities within existing clients and new business development opportunities.

- Conducting in-house trainings and seminars for self and team development.
