ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES  - Market Research: Research and codify the needs and challenges of the industry and how to best leverage our core competency to solve its core problems   - Solution Conceptualization: Conceptualize industry-specific solutions required to execute the industry solution strategy  - Solution Design: Design and manage business cases, user stories, content, and applications to deliver a compelling solution to the industry vertical  - Solution Management:   Identify requirements and lead successful development of solutions on an ongoing basis  Work with Product Management to shape product roadmap in accordance with industry requirements  Identify, evaluate, and plan integration efforts with 3rd party vendors to deliver a complete industry solution for customers  Work with Marketing to define industry-specific go-to-market programs and define industry-specific messaging and collaterals  - Solution Adoption: Oversee the development and application of best practices to continually drive incremental value of the solution. Work with Sales and Services to ensure reference customer adoption  - Solution Competency Management: Contribute to the organizational competency improvement by managing business cases, knowledge-base, and industry-specific solution strategy  QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS  - 5+ years of experience managing sales compensation plans and sales incentive programs in target industries, if the candidate is from a top B-School like IIM or ISB, else we need a person with 10+ yrs of experience who have moved from Delivery to Sales, etc.  - Experience in one of the following industries: Financial Services, Insurance, Life Sciences, Manufacturing & Distribution required.  - Experience leading projects, engaging with, and driving change across multiple levels of executives  - 3+ years managing technology, including enterprise applications, partner relationship applications, and integrations  - Experience in Sales Performance Management (SPM) or sales operations space is a plus  - A style that is rooted in ownership, passion, teamwork, innovation, and collaboration  - MBA or similar degree from a - global top 50- business school required; BS in computer science, information technology, or similar degree from a - global top 50- engineering school preferred  PREFERRED SKILLS  - Exceptionally strong product conceptualization skills  - Exceptional oral and written skills and strong client-facing, consultative selling skills  - Ability to work closely with software development staff  - Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines and objectives  - Familiarity with the latest product management, software as a service, and platform as a service technology trends and best practices  - Comfortable working with multiple enterprise stakeholders, including senior sales, marketing, services, finance, and operations executives
