This is regarding an opportunity with Syntel Ltd for Professionals with experience in Modernization enterprise architect -Java foundation

Job Description :

- Experience, specialized in legacy modernization space with focus on migration from Legacy to Distributed (JAVA) / Cloud Environments

- Hands on experience on Java SE and Java EE technologies in application development and maintenance

- Experience in frameworks such as Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring JDBC, JPA / Hibernate, etc.

- Hands-on experience in Web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.

- Hands-on experience in using build frameworks/tools such as Gradle, Maven, Ant.

- Strong database skills in RDBMS and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, Gemfire).

- Experience in Release cycle & management in CI/CD leveraging Automated Unit Testing.

- Experience in TDD, BDD, DDD & Agile methodology - UNIX, Python & Big Data (HDFS, Map Reduce, Spark, Kafka, Sqoop) would be a big plus.

- Ensure Quality standards (Sonar, CPD, PMD, etc).

- Mentoring & Motivating team members to keep them technically up to date.

- Excellent communication skills with ability to connect with senior stakeholders at customer accounts and create opportunities

- Ability to help and troubleshoot in any ongoing projects/implementations

- Prior CoE experience, Collaboration skills working with delivery Thought leader with ability to quickly adapt to changing technology landscape and organization requirements

- Flexibility of travel short term/long term domestic/international based on customer needs
