We are committed to rescuing land from degradation, enhancing biodiversity and revitalizing rural communities.  About This Job :   - The job holder will be responsible for managing Regional Payroll operations for APAC countries including managing payroll processes and procedures in ensuring quality and timely manner according to global and local requirements. Ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. Driving process consistency and standardization across the regions and vendor management and improvement of their systems.  Essential Knowledge & Experience :  - Strong experience in APAC countries payroll operations.   - Review and update the Payroll processes and standard operating model across countries in line with the Global /Local requirements.   - Hands on experience in reviewing/tracking the Payroll KPI's and identify the areas of improvement, wherever required.   - Vendor management - Invoice management, Service delivery review (Reviewing the KPI's of the Vendor and actual performance).   - Change request management process.   - Experience in Audit, SOX Compliance, and knowledge of the local statutory regulations.   - Experience in Payroll Transition projects will be good.   - Review and update the Business continuity plan for all APAC countries on regular basis.   - Assess the Risk evaluation of payroll process and provide an appropriate solution to mitigate the risk.  Qualifications :  - All experience in payroll around 8 to 10 years of experience in managing Regional Payroll operations.  - Master degree in any field ideally in HR or Accountancy/Business.  - Excellent management skills and knowledge of HR/payroll systems.  - High attention to details and strong interpersonal skills.  - Exposure in the multinational working environment will be highly advantageous.  - Possess excellent business acumen and negotiation skills to lead, influence and engage across the different business units.  Additional Important Information:   Full time position.  Travel requirement: 20% (international travel)  Work location: India, Pune   In Syngenta, we recognize that diversity and inclusion are important to our business.
