Designation : Lead CSS QA Data Analyst

Role Summary/Purpose - Provide support to Client Systems Support (CSS) - IT team and functional business partners through data analysis related to various IT programs including but not limited to rewards/loyalty programs and promotions, cardholder pricing initiatives, and credit promotions.

Essential Responsibilities

Leverage technology expertise including SAS and other relevant query tools to capture and analyze data to proactively validate accuracy and monitor production performance of CSS-driven changes.

Interact closely with multiple teams and leaders to understand project requirements and system setup parameters. Translate details into technical criteria necessary to obtain relevant production data.

Develop standard and custom queries to support program initiatives.

Produce and distribute daily dashboards with performance metrics, highlighting anomalies requiring investigation or further validation.

Include and maintain all required supporting documentation for future audit and legal review.

Identify and work with IT partners to implement quality improvement programs

Perform special assignments and other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science (or 4 years equivalent work experience) with 2+ years IT experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience with data analysis and data mining tools including SAS.

Minimum 2 years of experience with credit card processing or financial services.

Flexible to work in US timings

Desired Characteristics

3+ years knowledge of First Data Processing system, including Information Delivery

Platform (IDP reports) and cardholder billing processes

Demonstrated strong cross-functional team player

Strategic perspective with demonstrated accountability and execution mindset

Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence clients, team members, management and external groups

Ability to lead all phases of complex work assignments

Ability to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution options

Superior oral and written communication, analytical and problem solving skills

Strong knowledge of Synchrony / First Data promotional processing, cardholder pricing processes, and rewards

Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and/or tasks.
