Role Summary/Purpose:

- As a Collections Analyst you will have the opportunity to work on various business initiatives that contribute to GECF-Americas, Retail Finance's growth and productivity objectives.

- This role enables you to work directly with the business in various reporting & strategic needs.

- You will have the opportunity to work with cross functional teams and leverage state of the art tools (viz., SAS, BI).

Essential Responsibilities:

- Uses judgment based on the analysis of information. Works independently or partners with other teams to design, develop, and implement recurring and ad-hoc reports, metrics, and analytics in order to recommend improvement strategies on processes.

- Performs statistical analysis on data to evaluate and isolate the critical factors influencing trends and relationships of variables to drive improved delinquency results.

- Performs regular analysis of metrics and analytical tools employed to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business.

- Prepares and conducts analytical report outs for Collections, Business, and Risk leadership. Conceptualizes, develops, analyzes and leads delinquency reduction and process improvement projects across the Collections group.

- Develop, implement and monitor daily, weekly and monthly strategy dashboards. Notify management of warning signals and recommend corrective action. Maintain existing reports by ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

- Interpret reports and provide business insights.

- Automate reports and document processes

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in any quantitative discipline

- 5+ years hands on experience in SAS, statistical tools

- Previous work experience in Credit Card Collections function

- Understanding of US credit card industry & RF Business

- Exposure to SAS a must

- Good analytical skills

- Able to work hours that compliment US, not necessarily match but have some degree of overlap

Desired Characteristics:

- Knowledge in US CARDS ACTS, OCC regulation / Fed. Requirement

- Previous work experience working with SAS BI

- Work experience in a US financial institution or bank
