SyberPlace.com - Market Manager - Merchant Acquisition - IIM/ISB/XLRI/FMS/SIBM/MDI/SP Jain (2-6 yrs)
We are digital merchandisers serving mobile lifestyle. SyberPlace has grown 20x in 2014-15 compared to previous FY. We are expanding our reach to 500 locations across 35 markets in India.
Market Manager shall be responsible for a business of Rs. 250-300 crore per annum. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working long hours to accomplish business goals and look forward to be rewarded accordingly. This role involves:
- Acquiring merchants, who will sell on SyberPlace.com and mobileApp; identifying opportunities to move up in the food chain to reduce middlemen and consequent costs, while improving quality
- Providing thought leadership to enhance the business of each merchant 50-100% in a year
- Nurturing these relationships to establish mutual trust
- Collaborating with executives in the Company to identify opportunities for your market
- Managing fulfillment meets service level set by the Company
- Reducing costs to improve value proposition for customers while improving profitability of the Company
Eligibility Criteria:
Secondary- A minimum of 65% from CBSE/ICSE board, medium of education is English
+2- A minimum of 65% from CBSE/ICSE board in any subject, medium of education is English
Graduation- A minimum of 65%, or 7/10 CGPA or 6/8 CGPA or 3/4 CGPA from any University / College in India
MBA- A minimum of 65%, or 7/10 CGPA or 6/8 CGPA or 3/4 CGPA from Top 20 B-Schools in country,
Experience- Minimum 2 years in current job; those working in IT / ITeS / BPO companies are not eligible
Skill Required:
- A strategic thinker who is able to develop and refine plans for successful negotiations and merchant on-boarding
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Hands on and resourceful to be able to get work done
- Leadership skills to efficiently lead and motivate a team handling business of 250-300 crores

Rewards:
This position is for senior managerial role in company. You will handle a region equivalent to a business of 250 Crores, annually. You'll be well positioned in the Company with an annual compensation of starting from around Rs. 15 lacs ; or 25-30 % hike on your current CTC, growing up by 50 % in next 2 years.
