About our Client: Our client is one of the Leading Financial Institutions in the world with a massive presence across the globe, with diverse business lines. Complementing its huge asset base is its services spanning across brokerage, wealth management, securities, investment management etc. To support their operations, they are looking for an SVP- Financial reporting

Job Description: Reporting the Managing Director- Reporting, your key responsibilities will be:

- Responsible for the delivery of the offshore Group Control team, which includes billing, invoicing and group controlling

- Oversight and accountability for group financial reporting and general accounting process change and optimization

- Act as a point of escalation for major issues concerning Group Controlling and ensuing matters are communicated to the relevant leads onshore where required

- Continuous liaising with other major reporting verticals and prepare team reviews based on discussed MoMs

- Responsible for managing all operational elements of recruitment for their direct reporting layer (job description, going to market, profile screening etc.) in line with the recruitment strategy set by functional leads

The Successful Candidate:

- You are a Qualified CA with 15-20 years of post qualification experience with exposure to and strong understanding of financial fields such as controllership, forecasting, reporting, fin-ops systems etc.

- The candidate must be well versed in US GAAP, general ledger management as it would entail him to work on these on a daily basis.

- Experience of working in a large team and in an offshore-onshore operating model would be highly preferred
