Position Summary

- The DGM - HR will be responsible for successfully implementing the HR strategy in line with the company strategic goals.

- S/he will play the role of an HR Business Partner and would be responsible for supporting the business by identifying and developing solutions based on business priorities and organizational analysis.

- Alongwith developing the HR strategy, S/he will be will be responsible for building a performance oriented work culture and leading functions like recruitment, employee engagement, talent retention, skills development, performance management, policies, etc

- This role also involves ideating and conceptualizing various industry best practices used for managing performance of the employees.

- The incumbent will help laying best in-class processes and systems that drives the culture and makes the Company a great place to work.

Detailed Responsibilities

- Assessment of manpower requirements for business units and ensure timely fulfillment of manpower gaps through identification of internal candidates or through hiring from external sources.

- Identify and attract key talent from the industry. Drive and manage the recruitment process to consistently hire the best people in a timely manner through cost effective sources.

- Designing of effective HR policies and practices in line with industry best practices and ensure effective execution of the same in letter and in spirit.

- Identifying training needs across levels through mapping of skills required for different roles and analysis of the existing level of competencies.Conceptualizing& rollout of training & development initiatives for improving employee productivity, building capability and quality enhancement

- Conceptualize and drive initiatives that ensure a high level of employee engagement is maintained.

- Work in collaboration with business to ensure adherance to guidelines set for the organisation for various employee lifecycle processes

- Driving the Performance Management Process across the organization

- Driving the Payround cycle- Formulation and rollout of annual increments, Performance linked Incentives and other remuneration practices

- Partner with Payroll team to ensure timely payroll processing

- Partner with and coach business & functional leadership team to facilitate organization and culture change. Act as a catalyst for building Organizational Effectiveness within the business. Identify challenges with internal Organization culture and suggest possible steps for improvement

- Ensure Prompt query resolution of employee grievances & maintain cordial employee relations.

- Managing the HRIS and Leave management System

Desired candidate profile:

- Degree/or Diploma in Human Resources Management and/or Equivalent.

- 5-8 years of experience in HR preferably from the FMCG/Telecom/Retail background

- Experience having worked in a start-up / growth stage environment would be valued.
