Job Summary:
We are looking for a Category Manager to manage a group or category of products for our company. You will be the one responsible forsourcing, pricing and overall promotion of a product category on our website to maximize customer appeal. Relationships with vendors and catalogue management will also be part of your duties.

Mandatory :
Graduate Degree/Post Graduates
Preferred :
- Graduates/Post Graduates with background in, Manufacturing &Industrial Technologies.
Experience :
Candidates with one to four years
- Consistent performance in building strategical analysis and key account management.
- Prior experience of interacting with C-level executives is a plus.
Languages :
English, Kannada, Hindi.
Computer Skills :
MS Office Suite
Advanced MS Excel, other SRM tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete category management which will include sourcing, onboarding, price negotiation and further support to operations.
- Providing the vendors and suppliers with customer focused insights regarding the product and category.
- Creating and developing a long term plan and strategy for development of the category.
- Driving category relationships with the distributors and manufacturers.
- Becoming a leader in category ranging, pricing and promotions across customer channels.
- Leading category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising.
- Working alongside sales and catalogue teams to translate customer insights into strategies which drive performance.
- Managing a large catalogue of different categories and developing appropriate strategies for each.
- Developing strong working relationships with marketing and merchandising teams is essential.
Skills:
- Should have good communication skills.
- Should have experience in PPT skills.
- Required to have good negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, Advanced Excel.
- Being good with numbers is essential.
