Looking for candidates from Retail and FMCG sector only for the position of Project Manager Supply Chain - Ordering.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Identify opportunities to improve the end to end supply chain through innovative ideas and solutions
2.Provide clear specifications of requirements to suppliers and external contractors, ensuring they deliver against targets
3.Review existing processes on a regular basis and build training plan for stores based on audit results
4.Collect and communicate all stock management related information from head office and ensure area directors and store managers are aware of activities, plans, changes
5.Support new store openings, to ensure all staff are trained on stock related processes, daily routines, best practices
6.Ensure that the Stores understand the ordering processes and what their role is, gaps are recorded every day, stock corrections are up to date and stock records are accurate
7.Ensure that all new processes are implemented in stores and all relevant staff are trained
8.All new processes are audited after implementation. Next steps and further training needs are agreed with store managers
9.Make business aware of emerging trends in Ordering and Distribution and advise on their potential impact and actions necessary to manage
10.Help to upskill store, distribution and head office staff to take proactive actions
11.Provide regular feedback to Ordering team ref level of fill and backroom stocks and help them improve / fine tune orders to deliver one touch replenishment
12.Engage and manage project stakeholders so they are kept informed at all stages of the project
13.Develop the right communication and training materials for successful implementation and sustainability of the solutions developed
14.Work with Distribution and Ordering managers to simplify complex systems and processes into understandable business models and options
15.Work alongside the Retail Support Office and the stores, measure store operational process performance on the agreed areas, prepare detailed analysis and support optimizing store operation.
16.Develop and deliver multiple projects and/or programmes on time and to budget, managing frequently changing circumstances or requirements
