Job Description

- Enable client to effectively articulate business requirements and provide partnership for successful project implementation.

- Analyse the client’s business requirements to arrive at solution options – quick wins, solution roadmaps, software implementations.

- Lead end-to-end project delivery and work closely with Client’s multi-location team and client’s stakeholders.

- Develop supply chain optimisation models using package solutions like Llamasoft, Supply Chain Guru, ILOG LogicNet Plus, to answer targeted business questions

- Run basic statistical analysis using packages like MS Excel, SAS, SPSS or R to understand data behaviour and develop insights.

- Analyse and interpret optimisation results and derive insights; consult the client.

- Construct and present proof-of-concepts and prototypes to enable pre-sales.

- The role requires medium term stay of upto 6 months in either Australia or New Zealand before locating back in Bangalore; will need moderate travel thereafter.

Key Skills (Requirements)

- 4 to 6 years experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.

- Network optimisation modelling - with knowledge of network design tools like IBM LNP, preferably Llamasoft SCG or similar tools.

- Strong understanding of Supply chain design, lever and metrics involved.

- Understanding of supply chain planning at strategic, tactical and operational level.

- Working knowledge in implementing product-mix optimisation, price optimisation and strategic network design.

- Fundamental understanding of science behind optimisation.

- Advanced data analysis skills including MS Access, Excel, preferably SQL knowledge.

- Basic understanding of statistics with working knowledge of one of the statistical package SAS, SPSS or R.

- Working knowledge of visualisation tools like Tableau, Qlikview or any other BI solution.

- Ability to design and advice on complex systems implementations including custom optimisation solutions.
