Supplier Quality Assurance Manager - FMCG

Dimensions of the Role:

This role will focus on:

- First Time Right Deliveries at Abbott Factory/TPM with respect to Quality

- Support SQA activities liaison with Jhagadia QA

- Support SQA activities and liaison with Regional and Division-QA

- Continuous improvement Quality of ingredient supplied

- Support updation of ingredients specifications

Key Responsibilities:

Suppliers Audits :

- Visit to suppliers as per schedule

- Completion of audit reports

- Follow up on CAPA

Supplier /Ingredient Quality issues - Source Detection of issues and continuous improvement:

- Conduct rounds in plant to point out issues and areas to improve

- Make annual Quality management plan

- Quarterly Quality Management Review meeting (MRM) to be conducted for each supplier

- Ensure availability of resources for Quality assurance

- Establish weekly/monthly reports

SQA Liaison with Jhagadia QA and RQA/Div QA:

- Coordinate with JH Qa/RQA/Div QA on issues and projects

- SQA support for New Products and coordination with R&D :

- Support NPI related new supplier assessments

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required:

- Bachelor/Masters Degree in Food Science or similar discipline

- Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality assurance

- Additional experience some or all or the following disciplines will be an advantage: New supplier development, supplier quality Product Development, technical services, assurance.
