Contracts Manager  Primary Responsibility :   Contracts Management shall be responsible for arriving at contracts for identified projects across Asia Pacific in close collaboration with the Design and Engineering team, project construction teams and global planning group. The person shall understand contract requirements and negotiate with EPC contractors for arriving at execution of contracts. He/she should be well-organized and preferably conversant with solar technology and design, project management, EPC working methodologies, legal requirements in various regions of the world, major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Timberline.  Roles & Responsibilities :  - Works collaboratively with the Design and Engineering team, Construction Management and material planning teams to understand solar project timelines and related constraints  - Coordinate RFP process, organize pre-bid conferences, manage the review of bids from multiple EPC Contractors for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable bid  - Maintain close relationships with multiple EPC partners to negotiate and execute contracts within project budget, ensure proper documentation and order conformations  - Communicate results to all teams management in a clear, consise manner  - Place purchase orders in SunEdison's ERP systems in a timely and accurate manner  - Coordinate with legal counsel for litigation and participate in the amendment, termination and renegotiation of contracts.  - Understand and uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws  - Understands cost structure and knowledge of supply base of various electrical systems used in power plants  - Knowledge of civil engineering will be an additional advantage  Eligibility :  Job Related Experience :   - Successful track record for 8-15 years in technical roles/procurement/supply chain, ideally in a project driven organization  Educational Qualification :  - An Engineering graduate with Mechanical /Solar /Renewable/ Civil/Electrical as specialization  - MBA from a reputed institution will be desirable.
