Responsibilities

- Engage in consultative and insight-driven discussions with any level of client's leadership team, up to and including CxO level to position Subex products and services

- Present and demonstrate product concepts and capabilities. Do so in a manner to emphasize solutions to critical business challenges vs. traditional feature/function walk-through

- Prepare detailed RFP responses and technical proposals

- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers- met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.

- Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support

- Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure

- Work closely with Sales team to identify, develop, and close opportunities through meetings, POC resourcing, advising on sales strategy and business case creation

- Represent Subex in the Analytics domain to the external marketplace. Such involvement may include customer presentations, white papers, blogs, conference presentations and/or user group presentations

- Analyze market demands and provide feedback into product development via appropriate requirements process

- Remain up to date with market developments in the Analytics space.

- Work with sales and customers and identify opportunities for domains services like risk assessments, auditing, determining operations maturity levels etc

- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported

- Accountable to support sales to build pipeline

- Accountable for supporting Order Intake targets

- Accountable for contributing ideas and execution strategies for advancing opportunities to stage 5 (proposal offered and short-listed) in the most expedient manner possible.

- Accountable for contributing ideas and execution strategies for advancing opportunities that have become stalled at any given stage

- Accountable for proposal accuracy and quality

- Accountable for bid defense, demo and POC success

- Authority to determine the best approach and solution for opportunities

- Authority to render informed judgment about the qualification of a given sales opportunity

Experience:

6-10 years of working experience with atleast 4 years with a telecom service provider with a leading Consultancy or Systems Integrator in a consulting capacity or an analytics company.

Prior business and management consulting experience within delivery and sales arena

Approx 2-3 years tangible Analytics consulting experience

Ability to work with both business and technical teams.

Experience in working with clients on large Analytics program

Candidates must have strong writing skills and experience presenting findings and deliverables to senior management

Travelled and worked with customer/ prospects across multiple geographies.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to communicate with business and technical audiences

- Empathy for the business drivers of the client

- People Management & Customer Management Skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving capability

- Skilled in the use of Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Highly desirable to be fluent in another language

- Willingness to travel 60% of the time to any geography as business demands.

Graduate / Post Graduate Engineering is mandatory.

Mandatorily has worked with an analytics service company or product for 2-3 years.
