Subex - Data Scientist Manager - Analytics (8-13 yrs)

Looking for Data Scientist Manager with proven record of applying data science to solve problems at an industrial scale.

Designation: Data Scientist Manager

Location: Bangalore

Job Profile :

Candidates will be required to interact with telcos to understand their problems, gather relevant data, build models by applying advanced analytics and generate insights to solve the identified problems.

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of machine learning techniques like Bayesian, Decision Trees, Neural Networks, etc.

- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods including multi-variate statistical methods, discrete choice modelling, etc.

- Exposure to optimization solutions like constraint based optimization, game theory, etc. is an added bonus

- Strong proficiency in at least one data mining tool (SAS, SPSS, R, RapidMiner, etc.)

- Working proficiency in at least one programming language (C++, Java, R, Python, etc.) and SQL

- Prior experience with Big Data platforms/tools (Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) and exposure to telecom domain will be added advantages

- Ability to manage team of Data Analysts/Data scientists.

- Open to travel.

Qualification/Experience :

- 8+ years of demonstrated ability for industrial scale modeling using advanced analytics is a must

- Overall 8-12 years of experience

- Graduates with majors in statistics/mathematics or any other quantitative subjects will have an additional advantage.
