Strategy Consulting - Supply Chain/Sourcing & Procurement/Manufacturing Strategy

We have requirement in Supply Chain /Sourcing & Procurement/Manufacturing with leading consulting firm - Delhi/Bangalore/Mumbai

Location: Gurgaon, Mumbai

Job Description:

- A person in the Supply Chain team would be a part of globally diverse consulting team entrusted with the task of delivering Supply chain /sourcing and procurement engagements for clients across industries.

- He is expected to work as part of a global team to successfully execute individual Supply Chain, sourcing and procurement related work streams, such as strategically sourcing a commodity, conducting spend analytics / market intelligence, identifying cost reduction or process improvement opportunities etc.

Required Experience and Skills:

- In-depth understanding of Suppy Chain /sourcing and procurement /Manufacturing fundamentals coupled with consulting / industry experience across sourcing direct commodities, supplier development, supplier risk management, procurement operating model design / implementation and procure to pay process transformation

- Experience in a consulting firm and global exposure is desirable

- Excellent data analytics / data interpretation and presentation skills are essential

- Strong written and verbal communication skills area must

- Should have good project and people management skills

- This role would involve a certain amount of travel. There needs to be flexibility from this perspective

Functional Capability and Expertise:

- Ability to Identify evaluate and prioritize sourcing opportunities in alignment with financial objectives, ability to perform spend analysis

- Ability to Identify and pursue involvement in areas within the company in which the Strategic Sourcing organization can add value

- Interpret data quickly and elevate potential issues to appropriate level of review

- Effectively request analyze and evaluate vendor proposals (RFI/RFQs) and present findings

- Assist in developing long and short term sourcing strategies objectives and scope for defined commodities

Qualification - Masters / MBA from tier 1 Institute

Experience - 3-15 YEARS
