Responsibilities:
The role has the following deliverables –
- Project manage key strategic projects
- Stage gate control and ownership of E2E project timelines on assigned projects
- Proactive Issues management, escalation and speedy issue resolution
- Prepare PMB documentation and project reporting
- Maintenance of all project documentation in shared repositories
- Project management support to RRB (Rainbow review board)
- Manage without hierarchical control the assigned multifunctional project lead teams (Marketing, sales, value chain, GMS, procurement, R&D, finance & legal resources)
- Strong understanding of end to end NPD processes and stage gates
- Mastery over principles of project management , processes, tools, techniques and best practices
Problem Solving & Innovation:
The incumbent should be able to -
- Diagnose possible issues/roadblocks in meeting project timelines
- Co-ordinate projects across multiple matrix environments
- Effective decision making, presenting options and cost benefit assessment to fast track decisions, addressing multiple stakeholder needs
- Strong understanding of end to end NPD processes and stage gates
- Mastery over principles of project management , processes, tools, techniques and best practices
Nature of Interaction:
This role requires –
- Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders
- Effectively coordinate planning and execution in a matrix environment
- Close working relationships with senior managers across functions in order to align priorities
- Ongoing and regular communications with senior management
Impact:
- The role has an impact on delivery of NPD top-lines and gross margins.
- Effective stage gate process will ensure optimal utilization of limited resources.
- Role is critical to proactive issue management and escalation when ever required.
- Role has a strong impact on matrix project team ways of working
Looking for candidates from Tier I b school - 2003/2004/2005 batches
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Master in Business Admin/Post Graduate Diploma in in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing or Sales.
- At least 4 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Project Management having an experience in Sales.
